Classes are presented over 8 weeks, one 3 hour session/class per week.
A one-week class can be presented in rural areas/ towns, Mondays to Fridays from 08:00 to 13:00.
Successful parenting requires hard work and dedication because it is perhaps the most important responsibility in one’s life. Unfortunately it is also the one that we are the least prepared for!
Fifteen years ago, my husband and I realised that we were not adequately prepared to build mutually satisfying and quality relationships with our children. Fortunately we were introduced to the Parent Effectiveness Training Course and this assisted both of us greatly to overcome the uncertainties and anxieties associated with parenting. The parenting skills acquired during the training made us more confident parents and we quickly saw positive results from applying these techniques.
The Parent Effectiveness Training Course gave us the ability to manage the most important relationships in our lives – we have two sons (21 and 18) and were blessed with the arrival of a baby daughter late in 2008. We now have the opportunity to apply all our parenting skills anew....this time with much less anxiety!
The birth of our daughter again made me aware of the importance of relationships skills and communication techniques to parents, as taught in the PET Course. It will be a privilege to present PET to you and your parenting partner and to assist you to acquire skills and techniques that will benefit your family!
